Insurance & Billing
Do you accept insurance?

LilyPad Health is designed to be insurance-friendly. We participate with select commercial insurance plans for covered medical services and also offer transparent self-pay pricing. We're happy to help you understand your coverage and answer any questions before you schedule your appointment.
What if I don't have insurance?
No problem.
Patients without insurance are welcome. We offer affordable self-pay options and transparent pricing.
Why would I choose a membership if I have insurance?

LilyPad Health offers: Primary Care, Annual Wellness Exams, Preventive Care, Women's Health, Men's Health, Weight & Metabolic Health, GLP-1 Weight Management, Menopause Support, Thyroid Evaluation, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Wellness, Healthy Aging, Laboratory Review, Medication Management, specialist coordination.
Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications?
Yes. LilyPad Health prescribes GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide when medically appropriate as part of a comprehensive metabolic health program, not as a prescription-only service.
Do you prescribe hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?
Yes. When appropriate, we provide evidence-based menopause evaluation and hormone therapy after a thorough discussion of symptoms, medical history, risks, and treatment options.
Do you treat anxiety and depression?
Yes. As part of primary care, we manage conditions including anxiety, stress, mild depression, and insomnia, coordinating care with mental health specialists when appropriate.
Telehealth
Is telehealth really effective?
Yes. Many primary care visits, preventive care appointments, medication management visits, laboratory reviews, menopause consultations, and metabolic health visits can be effectively provided through secure telehealth. If an in-person evaluation is needed, we'll help coordinate the appropriate care.
Can you see patients anywhere in California?
Yes. Because LilyPad Health is licensed in California, we can provide telehealth services to patients located throughout the state.
Practice Policies
How do I communicate with my provider?
Most communication occurs through our secure patient portal.
Depending on your membership level, you'll receive enhanced response times and additional communication benefits.
What if I have a medical emergency?
LilyPad Health is not an emergency medical service.
If you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reactions, suicidal thoughts, or another medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
How do prescription refills work?
Prescription refill requests should be submitted through the patient portal whenever possible. Some medications require follow-up visits or laboratory monitoring before refills can be authorized.
